They’ve helped me overcome self-pity, indirection, procrastination, and overthinking. Most importantly, they’ve helped me find what matters most to me and reminded me to stay committed not to a long-term vision but to the small acts I perform each day.

The light shines brightest in the dark, and as we enter this new era of American history, the wounds of our deeply divided country will undoubtedly spur an era of significant creation.
