We live in a culture where worrying can be glorified. If you're worrying, you're one step ahead, you're out of your comfort zone, you're making things happen.
It was after a health scare that I really learned what all my worrying was doing to my body, but the scariest realization was my body seemed to be stuck in "fight or flight mode."
