Designing for yourself is always a tough job.
Not only are you your toughest client, but you also have personal baggage to deal with throughout the design process. You may feel a fear of missing out on an aspect of the design you might like more down the road. Or you may find yourself designing your space for who you would like to become—not for who you are right now.
