Have you ever daydreamed about being one of those people who are completely organized? Oh what it would feel like to be consistently on top of all the details in life. The laundry would never pile up. The mail would always be sorted and opened. Appointments would never be missed. Spring cleaning would be a breeze.

If you are even the slightest bit neurodivergent, you know this is an intoxicating thought. For decades, I truly believed that if I could just keep my home clean and organized, I would become a wholly new person. I feel silly admitting this so bluntly, but it’s true.
