I think most of the worry with making the "wrong choice" with art particularly, is that it is typically an expensive and time consuming mistake.
Some things are easier and cheaper to remedy! Like paint color on a wall or a piece of consignment furniture.
We've been sitting on a reupholstered sofa that I never really liked, for 5 years, because it was too $$$ to have redone.
I have ordered an oil for my bedroom - a commission 😳 because I am done waiting for her to paint something that will work in the room. I've been looking for something for 3 years.
If it doesn't quite work, it will hang there anyway. Fingers crossed!!
I loved so much of this and the realness. I am often stuck and can’t bring myself to keep working on a space until it feels “right” for me. So rather than living with a space that may not be quite my ideal, instead we are living in something even less desirable that feels like you just moved in and haven’t yet made it home-y when it’s actually been five years. I am resonating with the idea of permission to make mistakes. Looking forward to more on the art display. We have been graciously gifted original paintings by my husband’s aunt, some with frames (from 50+ years ago) she suggested might need updating and several that need framing.

Oops, clumsy fingers… meant to add that I look forward to hearing your expertise on frames, placement in order to do them justice!
I really needed to hear this today. Thank you.
"Indecision means we care...and that's a good thing." That line will stick with me!
