Tearing up while reading this. I clicked this article for technical answers and ended up feeling so incredibly seen. I am stuck in all the stories and relate to it all. It felt like you had been in my head!

Your article really resonates with me. Two years after downsizing from a very large home to a smaller, more compact one, i still have boxes in the garage and " project room" to unpack, and i have lost the interest in doing so. My new house feels like a never ending To Do list. Help!

It’s a catch 22 situation for me. I love to renovate houses so there’s always one more thing to do to upgrade / finish the house. But I watched ‘The GoldFinch’ recently and saw how ordered Nicole Kidman’s apartment liked - it made me want to live in a finished space. PS. The book is even better than the film
